Wear that fancy skirt!

In April we traveled to Finland and Sweden on a little tour of the new babies. This is my friend Alexandra, with the newest addition to her family. He's obsessed with the propeller in the vent – looking at it calms down his meltdowns fast!

What I admire about Alexandra is that she's always been her own person, with her own style (see below), with her own wants and desires, throughout life with a baby and now toddler and baby.

I always worry that having kids will change who I am, and she's shown me that it's not necessarily the case.

Make that trip. Go to that concert. Buy AND WEAR that fancy skirt. Have a glass of bubbly.

This trip hit me pretty hard, noticing how hard it is to be away from dear friends, while I'm at a point where I don't want to be away from California for very long either.
