Cedar's In-Home Nursing Photo Session | Bay Area Family Photographer

Carly contacted me a few months back, wondering if we could get together for a nursing photo session. Her son Cedar was still nursing at 18 months, but she wasn't sure if he would for much longer – which made her want to document this time in their lives.

Sometimes kiddos don't nurse for very long, but my "mini nursing sessions" aren't that mini; I head on over before and stick around for what happens after. Kiddo might run off to the living room, slip, and get comforted by the parent team!I used to be against mini sessions because of the hectic schedules – I can't get to know my clients and capture who they are in less than 20 minutes. But taking my time in an environment where my clients feel comfortable, it can be pretty amazing.
