Mommy and Faye In-Home Session

"When Jenna sent us our photos, I think I stared at them for 10 minutes, just speechless! I was filled with so much emotion. They were so much more than I had hoped for. They captured what our day is like and made the simple moments feel so much more beautiful! The moments I take for granted now held so much more meaning. I am so grateful that I can look back on these photos in 10 years and remember what a day in our life was like with cuddles, playtime, a lot of mess, but even more love!"

When we first moved to San Jose I started making all kinds of things for our home, since we barely brought anything with us from Finland. I started a DIY blog to document all of those projects, and through that I came into contact with another Jenna, a lifestyle blogger living in San Francisco.

After I registered my photography business a year later, and Jenna had a baby girl not long after, we both got crazy busy and lost touch for a little bit. Last week we reunited to get some pictures of Faye; what a fun excuse to catch up!

Faye was getting sooo tired, since she didn't want to nap at all. Over-tired little babies are a handful for moms, but make for really cute photos!

These photos make me really happy, which tells me that I'm heading in the right direction with my family photography. Feeling excited and hungry for more!
