Inspiration for gallery style matted prints

The other day I went to SFMOMA for a photography exhibit showcasing Walker Evans.

There was one particular set of prints that I really loved, and that gave me the inspiration to start offering matter prints to my family session clients.

The aim was to create timeless pieces that I will work on as a collection of 2-8 prints, either sticking to just one size or mixing the two up. The good thing about matted prints is that the families I photograph can buy whatever frames they would like, and as they update their decor they can change up the frames without harming their prints.

Here’s what I’ve added into my print product options:

20x20 mat with a 6x9 print

20x16 mat with a 6x9 print:

I can't wait to fill up some of our walls with these gallery style prints, too!
