"I don't think we could have ever imagined how entertained we would be by this tiny person. She only knows how to do approximately five things, and yet we'd pick watching her over anything on Netflix (except for Friday Night Lights. "Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose" gets us every time!) Everything from her "stinky" facial expression to the way that she always manages to pull a Houdini maneuver to get a hand out of her swaddle is hilarious to us. Poop leaking out of her diaper and the dogs chasing after us to sniff her bottom, while not as amusing, will certainly make for a great story at her 16th birthday party." - Poonam
Maanvi was three weeks new when I joined her family in their Bay Area home for a newborn session – her silly faces had us laughing through the afternoon. Grandma knew the exact tricks to make Maanvi smile, whereas Uncle was so careful with his precious little niece. She already looks so different from when I met her at one day new at the hospital.For parents to invite me into their home during such an exhausting and amazing part of their lives always feels like a huge privilege.
