When I first talked to Ethan's (the future) mom, she talked about how she's adjusting to the identity of becoming a parent – and I think it is such a great idea to really think about these things beforehand. What kind of parent you want to be, and how to bring that out in yourself. Of course life throws its curveballs and we cannot control who our kiddos are, but having thought about these things will help as those curveballs are being thrown at you and there's no time to think at all.
