Ruff Monday XV | Nova Had A Roommate

Nova-Australian-Shepherd-Roommate-1Sammy's humans went to Jamaica for a wedding, which meant that she came over for a week long sleep-over. I was pretty excited about that, because my humans can be a bit boring during the day.Usually I wake my humans up by jumping up on the bed, just in case the alarm didn't do it's job. During this week Sammy kept telling me to get off the bed, though – Girl human had to tell Sammy that I'm allowed on the bed, too.I liked having Sammy around, because sometimes I can sneak some kibble from her bowl too. She doesn't need much food anyway – she's so little! I need all the fuel I can get.Speaking of Sammy being little – did you know she is a German shepherd mix? None of us at the park believed it at first, but she does act like a sheriff; checking everyone out as they come in and letting them know she's the boss. Unless they're really really huge.Sammy does not like to be picked up (I pretend I don't, but actually being held gets me closer to face-licking distance!). She usually jumps up on the couch though, and does not want me near Boy or Girl human. But it's ok – my humans did explain to Sammy that we can all enjoy the couch together.Sammy likes to be out on the balcony and keep an eye on things. Sometimes she was telling people to stay away, so I had to back her up incase they wouldn't take her seriously. She really is tiny. After Sammy went back home, I had a lot of sleep to catch up on.You're welcome back any time, friend!
