I was spending a warm August morning at the dog park, when the text I had been anticipating for weeks finally came. The baby was on his way! So I took my furchild home, and headed up to Walnut Creek to meet little newborn Rhys. He was about an hour new when I got to the hospital; all swaddled up and nestled with his adoring parents.

"We weren’t sure if we wanted a photographer present during such intimate family moments, but we are so grateful to have such incredible photographs of our first steps together as a family. Jenna’s photographs are beautiful, and we feel that they truly capture our memories of our first week together. Only a few months have gone by and we have already returned to look at them so many times – I’m sure that we will continue to do so as our little guy grows up."
