She grabbed some beautiful shots of our older girls loving on their new baby sister. I am so happy to have these memories to share with our girls forever.  She is super talented with candid photos allowing us to just be ourselves which is the easiest for young children. We look forward to having her photograph our family through the years!”

We were looking for a relaxed and fun photographer, who is good at catching real moments. Jenna came highly recommended. I saw a picture that she took at someone’s home.

I was nervous about what it would be like, not having had a “documentary” style photo shoot before.  I was concerned that we wouldn’t be able to be ourselves with someone else there. I liked that we talked in advance and Jenna was reassuring about what to expect.

My biggest fear about the session was feeling uncomfortable or my kids feeling weird. But my kids warmed up to her immediately, and soon we all felt pretty relaxed. My partner is more reserved, but he still enjoyed the session and said good things about it afterwards.

I loved the pictures!!! My favorite picture is really all of them — because they all capture different things about the day and our relationships. I would recommend Jenna for photo shoots with kids, families — really I am going to recommend her to everyone!”

“Jenna’s skill is such a gift! In this age where cellphones produce excellent quality photos, it’s not difficult to get a nice, posed shot of my children smiling—I can do that any time. Jenna offers something different—the opportunity to see your life as it really is, with beautiful editorially composed shots.

Jenna was both present and invisible while photographing our family. I, and my children, felt instantly comfortable with her; able to chat and talk like friends. She shot us going about our regular lives in a totally un-selfconsious way. There were only a handful of times that I realized she was shooting. She captured magical moments of my children living their lives; playing together, laughing, crying—moments that I’m usually unaware of or so entrenched in that I don’t get to really see them.”

“Jenna came to photograph our family twice – once in the hospital one hour after our son was born, and then again at our home when he was one week old. In both setting, Jenna was fun and easy to work with. In the hospital she was extremely respectful of our time and space to bond as a family without interruption.  We felt completely comfortable being in the moment and didn’t feel like there was a camera present. She also was very respectful and interacted professionally with all the hospital staff.

When she came to our home and we had more time together, we have a really fun afternoon with Jenna. She made us feel comfortable, and was able to balance being a quiet observer to capture a day in our life, while also sharing good conversations and enjoying our little one with us. She wasn’t at all bothered by the fact that our baby slept through most of the session, and even shared some photography tips with my husband during nap time!

We weren’t sure if we wanted a photographer present during such intimate family moments, but we are so grateful to have such incredible photographs of our first steps together as a family. Jenna’s photographs are beautiful, and we feel that they truly capture our memories of our first week together. Only a few months have gone by and we have already returned to look at them so many times – I’m sure that we will continue to do so as our little guy grows up.

Jenna is easy going and extremely personable, and she really wants to share in your joy. You can tell that she loves being around kids and understands the dynamic of a new family. And her pictures are amazing! We would highly recommend working with Jenna.”

“I knew I wanted to get photos taken of my daughter when she was born, but being a new mom, it was the last thing on my to-do list. It just seems like so much work to get coordinated outfits and try get Faye to cooperate. When Jenna came over, everything was so calm and low key, I went about my business and she snapped away.

What we got were photos that represented who we were. Small moments of the day that were captured, just make my heart flutter! These photos were so beautiful and I just can’t tell you enough how blown away I was! Jenna is so talented in making those seemingly mundane moments look cinematic!”

“Jenna did a family photo shoot for us in December and we absolutely loved both her and her work. She was referred to us by a friend in our neighborhood who also has a 3 year old. Jenna’s approach of just blending in with our family and capturing candid moments was exactly what we were looking for. The shoot yielded absolutely beautiful shots that show our toddler’s personality and what it feels like to be around her at this age. We will treasure them, and they made perfect holiday gifts for all our family members this year!

She is also unbelievably easy to work with, both in setting up the shoot, the day of, and when she delivered the images. She is super responsive over text and email, and provided our photos way ahead of schedule. She even sent some gorgeous prints in the mail that were totally unexpected. In person, Jenna is really kind and friendly, and our 3-year old was immediately comfortable around her.

End-to-end, we couldn’t have had a better experience nor have we ever seen a better set of family photos.”
