An evening in the life of three girls

2018 was my third year photographing these three girls - since the birth of Amelia in 2016. Throughout a Fresh 48, hanging out at the park, and exploring the frame of their new house, this was the first time we spent a longer time together making pictures inside their home.

The evening meant baking cookies, enjoying them out on the heated patio, and some play time before bed.

Whenever I work with a family consistently, I can see the difference in how quickly everyone gets comfortable in their usual routines, as well as how much more access kids give me to their lives.

I love that Ava still cuddles up with dad and Arianna for story time, and I wonder how long she still will.
