March For Our Lives, San Jose 3-24-2018

I feel that I've been fairly sheltered from the crazyness of the world while growing up and living in Finland. I never had to walk through a metal detector to get to school, have my bag randomly searched, have emergency shooter drills, or be scared of getting hurt at school.

Since the move to California, I've become more and more aware of the troubles that continue to exist and grow in the US. Going to marches and protests is the context that today's children are growing up in.

On March 24th, 2018 I headed out to March For Our Lives, San Jose, to document all these amazing souls that showed up for today's children – together.
