Print Project 6-7 | 2016
I've combined June and July prints into one post – summertime is going by crazy fast. Too fast!We went to Iceland in June-July, which was pretty amazing. Before visiting, we were told that Iceland has something for everyone. After experiencing it, we can confirm this is absolutely true. Whether you're visiting for a long weekend or spending an entire month exploring this rugged island, you'll be sure to have an amazing time. Iceland is known for not being cheap but there are tons of ways to save money to make your dream itinerary doable, even for the tightest of budgets. One of the best ways to do this, which we found out about once there, is by hiring a campervan. This saves on the cost of hotels and gives you a completely different perspective of the country, although you will need to make sure you are familiar with driving in iceland. The landscape there was so different from anything I've ever seen – space landing meets Lord of the Rings? But don't take my word for it... get out there yourself and explore the Land of Fire and Ice!Unfortunately, I am not a decent landscape photographer, so I focused on scenes with human elements and Icelandic horses. I also printed some monthly-must photos of Nova, at the beach as well as passed out on the balcony. Also a little glimpse into what my dog park attire looks like – it ain't pretty! But anything clean does not stay clean at the dog park...
