A Photo Session Even Dad Will Enjoy

Honey – I'd LOVE to hire a family photographer!Said by not very many dads, I'm afraid.Lots of moms that contact me tell me that their husband's aren't very into the idea of family photos, because they usually don't feel comfortable posing or dressing up. Which makes a lot of moms sad, because they of course want their love in the pictures that that the kiddos will have those memories.I get it, though. The forced smiling, posing, being dressed in something they wouldn't normally wear, worrying about being in the way or not doing things right, and dealing with tantrums in front of a stranger can get fairly overwhelming and uncomfortable. But I've noticed that since I switched over to the documentary photography approach, dads have been much, MUCH, happier being involved in the family pictures. They can fling their kids up in the air, hug their wives, or take a nap – they just get to be dads.
